Our STEM LABORATORY
Our STEM Lab offers an exciting, hands-on learning experience in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), with a focus on coding and robotics. The lab is designed to provide high-quality education to all pupils from primary school to high school students, aged from 4 years to high schoolers. The lab is equipped with state-of-the-art high-performance technology, including smartboards, high-speed laptops, tablets, and specialized STEM equipment such as robotics kits and quality headsets. These resources facilitate an interactive and engaging learning environment. It equally boasts of modern lab sinks for science experiments and specialized STEM equipment, providing a comprehensive and versatile environment for hands-on learning. The lab is available to all students at École Thérèse Internationale and external schools, allowing them to bring students in during and after-school hours or on Saturdays for STEM sessions. Individual pupils are also welcome to use the lab for skill development, providing them with an immersive, bilingual STEM education.

Programs and Curriculum:

Bilingual STEM Education
The STEM curriculum is delivered in a bilingual learning environment (French and English), ensuring that students not only gain technical expertise but also develop language skills, which are essential for success in today’s global world.
Hands-on Approach
Students engage in an interactive hands-on learning experience, focusing on topics such as coding, robotics, science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. They will use modern technology to build, experiment, and create, fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Flexible Operating Hours
The lab operates in flexible hours during school hours, after-school hours, and on Saturdays, offering flexible learning opportunities for students.
First Bilingual STEM Program
The bilingual STEM experience is the first of its kind in the country. The focus on coding and robotics ensures students gain the technical skills needed to thrive in today’s tech-driven world. The bilingual approach enhances language skills while learning complex STEM concepts.

Learning Outcomes
Scientific and Technical Expertise
Students will develop a deep understanding of STEM concepts, preparing them for future careers in fields such as engineering, technology, and scientific research.

Language Development
Through the bilingual curriculum, students will also develop their language skills by improving their English and French language proficiency, giving them the tools to communicate effectively in the international context.
